3. Causing Injury or Death:

• If a driver causes injury while under the influence, they may face up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to RM 50,000. In cases of death caused by reckless driving while intoxicated, the offender could face up to fifteen years of imprisonment and a fine of up to RM 100,000.
